About the Opportunity:

QTalk is an individual technical speaking competition that challenges participants to explain a quantum concept clearly, accurately, and engagingly within two minutes.
Participants can choose a quantum-computing concept of their interest or present a quantum concept related to their academic work or project.
The competition focuses on technical communication and conceptual understanding rather than project complexity. Participants are expected to present their chosen topic in a clear and accessible manner for an audience with different levels of knowledge in quantum computing.
Participants will be evaluated on conceptual understanding, technical accuracy, clarity, organization, presentation skills, communication, and effective use of the two-minute time limit.

Duration

The overall event duration will depend on the number of registered participants.
Each participant will receive exactly 2 minutes for their presentation, excluding the time required for participant transitions.

QTalk is an individual participation event.
Each participant gets a maximum of 2 minutes to deliver their presentation.
Participants must explain one clearly defined quantum-related topic.
The presentation must be technically relevant to quantum computing or quantum technology.
Participants must demonstrate their own understanding of the selected topic.
Participants must maintain technical accuracy while explaining the concept.
A warning will be given when 30 seconds remain.
The presentation will be stopped when the two-minute limit is reached.
Participants must not exceed the allotted speaking time.
Participants must not intentionally misrepresent concepts, data, or project results.
Plagiarism or copying another participant's presentation may result in disqualification.
Participants must follow the instructions provided by the organizing team and judges.
The judges' scores will be recorded independently.
The decision of the organizing committee regarding scoring and final results will be final.
