Description
- QLudo is an individual quantum-inspired Ludo competition that combines the familiar game of Ludo with a defined set of simple quantum-inspired mechanics.
- The competition is designed for participants with basic knowledge of Ludo and does not require prior knowledge of quantum computing. Before the competitive rounds, participants will receive a rules briefing explaining the special mechanics, turn sequence, legal actions, scoring system, and important game situations.
- A mandatory practice/screening round will be conducted before the official matches so participants can understand and apply the rules. After the screening round, participants will compete in timed matches according to the announced competition format.
- The competition will test strategic thinking, decision-making, probability awareness, and adaptability in a competitive quantum-inspired gaming environment.

- Total Duration: 90–120 minutes
Rules & Guidelines
- The competition is individual, with one participant per entry.
- Participants should have basic knowledge of traditional Ludo.
- No prior quantum-computing knowledge is required.
- All participants must attend the rules briefing before the main competition.
- A mandatory practice/screening round will be conducted before official matches.
- The organizers will explain all quantum-inspired mechanics, legal actions, turn sequence, scoring, and special conditions before competitive play.
- Participants must follow the official QLudo rules throughout the competition.
- Each match will be conducted within the time limit announced by the organizers.
- Participants must not use unauthorized external assistance, AI tools, software, or communication with other participants during a match.
- Any disputed move, rule clarification, or technical problem must immediately be reported to the referee.
- The referee will resolve gameplay disputes according to the published rulebook.
- Match results must be recorded immediately after each match.
- Participants must report to their assigned match at the scheduled time.
- Failure to report within the permitted time may result in a walkover or disqualification.
- Any attempt to cheat, manipulate results, or violate the competition rules may result in disqualification.
- Advancement to the next round will be based on the officially recorded match results or points.
- The scoring and tie-break system will be announced before the first official match.
- Tie-break rules will not be changed after the competition begins.
- The same published rules will apply to the final round.
- The chief referee's decision will be final for disputes arising during gameplay.
- Participants must maintain fair play and follow instructions from event officials.
- The organizers may take necessary operational decisions to ensure the competition is conducted fairly and smoothly.
