Rules & Guidelines:
Eligibility:
- Participation is individual.
- No advanced technical knowledge is required.
- Basic probability and logical reasoning are helpful.
- Registered participants may participate subject to available slots.
- Walk-in participation may be allowed if slots remain available.
Game Format:
- Participants will attempt to determine what is inside a sealed box using the clues provided during the game.
- Each round will provide participants with information that can be used to update their prediction.
- Participants must make their prediction within the allotted time.
- The game may consist of multiple successive rounds.
Gameplay:
- Presentation of the available clues.
- A fixed period for observation and reasoning.
- Participant prediction.
- Recording of the prediction.
- Reveal/verification of the actual outcome.
- Score allocation.
Probability & Reasoning:
- Participants may use the provided clues and information to make their decisions.
- Predictions should be based on the information available during the round.
- Participants must not attempt to access the box or obtain information outside the permitted clues.
Time Limit:
- Each round will have a specified decision-making time.
- Predictions submitted after the round closes may not be accepted.
- The event coordinator will announce the start and end of each round.
Equipment & Materials:
- The organizers will provide the boxes, clues and required game materials.
- Participants must not interfere with or manipulate the game equipment.
- Participants should follow all instructions regarding the handling of materials.
Fair Play:
- Make their own predictions.
- Use only the information provided during the game.
- Avoid communicating answers to other participants during an active round.
- Avoid attempting to inspect or access the sealed box.
Scoring:
- Correct predictions
- Accuracy across multiple rounds
- Probability-based decision quality, where applicable
- Response time, if included in the official rules
Disqualification:
- Attempting to open or inspect a sealed box
- Obtaining unauthorized information
- Communicating answers during a restricted round
- Manipulating game materials
- Cheating
- Disruptive behavior
- Refusing to follow organizer instructions
Participant Conduct:
- Participants must respect other players and event staff.
- Participants must remain in the designated activity area during gameplay.
- Participants must follow the instructions given by the game coordinator.
