Description
- QTictoec is an individual quantum-inspired Tic-Tac-Toe competition that combines the familiar strategy of Tic-Tac-Toe with simple, clearly explained quantum-inspired game mechanics.
- The competition is designed to be accessible to participants with basic knowledge of Tic-Tac-Toe. No prior knowledge of quantum computing is required. Before the competitive rounds, participants will receive a rules briefing and a practice round explaining the special mechanics, legal moves, scoring, and possible game situations.
- After the practice round, participants will compete in timed matches. Depending on the number of participants, the competition will follow a knockout, league, or other announced format. Match results will be recorded after every game, and participants will advance according to the published competition format.
- The event focuses on logical thinking, strategic decision-making, adaptability, and problem-solving through an engaging quantum-inspired gaming experience.

Rules & Guidelines
- The competition is individual, with one participant per entry.
- Participants should have a basic understanding of traditional Tic-Tac-Toe.
- No prior quantum-computing knowledge is required.
- All participants must attend the rules briefing before the competitive rounds.
- A mandatory practice/screening round will be conducted to familiarize participants with the quantum-inspired mechanics.
- The official rules and special mechanics will be explained before the competition begins.
- Participants must follow the official game rules and instructions given by the referee.
- Each match will be played within the time limit announced by the organizers.
- Participants must not use unauthorized external assistance, software, AI tools, or communication with other participants during a match.
- Any disputed move or technical issue must immediately be reported to the assigned referee.
- The referee's decision regarding a rule dispute will be recorded and followed for that match.
- Match results must be submitted or confirmed immediately after each match.
- Participants must report to their assigned match at the scheduled time.
- Failure to report within the permitted time may result in a walkover or disqualification.
- Any attempt to manipulate results, cheat, or violate the competition rules may result in disqualification.
- Advancement to subsequent rounds will be based on the officially recorded match results.
- In case of a tie, the tie-break procedure announced before the competition will be applied.
- The rules applicable to the preliminary rounds will also apply to the final round.
- The organizers may take necessary operational decisions to ensure fair and smooth conduct of the competition.
