About the Opportunity:

• QEscapes is a quantum-themed, escape-room-style team competition featuring five sequential levels of challenges.
• Teams must solve a quantum-related challenge at each level to progress to the next stage. The challenges increase in difficulty, beginning with fundamental quantum concepts and progressing toward more advanced conceptual and problem-solving tasks.
• Challenges may include quantum puzzles, coded clues, logical problems, quantum terminology, visual tasks, algorithmic reasoning, and application-based questions.
• Teams must work together, manage their time effectively, and use logical and conceptual reasoning to complete all five levels. Accuracy, number of levels completed, and completion time will determine the final results.
• Total Event Duration: 90 Minutes

Rules & Guidelines

• The competition is team-based.
• Each team must consist of 5 participants.
• Each team will be assigned a starting area and must follow the announced progression sequence.
• The competition consists of 5 sequential levels.
• Teams must successfully complete a level before progressing to the next level.
• Each level will contain a quantum-related puzzle, challenge, or problem.
• Teams may request hints through the designated hint mechanism.
• Hints may result in a score or time penalty.
• Teams must submit their solution to the designated facilitator for verification.
• Participants must not use unauthorized internet searches, AI tools, notes, or external resources.
• Teams must not interfere with another team's challenges, materials, or progress.
• Participants must not force, damage, or tamper with locks, boxes, equipment, or other event materials.
• The event has a fixed overall time limit.
• The number of successfully completed levels will be recorded.
• Completion time, hints, and penalties will be recorded by the event coordinators.
• Any form of malpractice or deliberate interference may result in disqualification.
• Participants must follow all safety and room instructions provided by the organizers.
• The decision of the organizing committee regarding challenge completion, penalties, and final results will be final.
