Legacy Files is a business-detective challenge in which teams investigate a hidden company by solving puzzles, interpreting evidence, and uncovering its Foundation, Pivot, and Frontier. The strongest teams then defend the company as its board of directors.
Opportunity Rounds
Online Screening & Team Leader Interview
If registrations exceed the stated threshold, teams take a screening quiz. Qualifying team leaders proceed to a one-on-one online interview.
Round 1 – The Legacy Vault (Offline, Day 1)
Teams solve an opening evidence puzzle and move through four stations. Each station tests skills such as pattern recognition, business data interpretation, logic, and spotting inconsistencies. Clues are combined to identify the hidden company; the top eight teams advance.
Round 2 – Boardroom Under Fire (Offline, Day 2)
Teams act as the identified company's board and respond to questions from judges and journalists. Crisis, market, legacy, and surprise prompts test their judgement, communication, and ability to defend decisions under pressure
