Financial Forward is a two-day stock market simulation and analysis competition. Participants apply investment knowledge, financial analysis, risk awareness, and decision-making through simulated trading and a company-analysis presentation.
Opportunity Rounds:
Online Screening Quiz:
- The online qualifying quiz tests stock market and finance fundamentals and selects teams for the on-campus event.
Round 2 – Live Stock Market Trading (Offline, Day 1)
- Teams receive virtual investment capital and analyse market prices and trends to buy and sell stocks. Short selling is prohibited; teams are evaluated on how effectively they manage their portfolio.
Round 3 – Technical & Fundamental Analysis (Offline, Day 2)
- Teams are assigned a listed company and prepare a presentation covering financial statements, profitability, revenue, growth, technical indicators, price movements, competitors, market position, and future potential.
