Robot Specifications:

• Dimensions: Must fit within a 50 cm × 50 cm × 30 cm box at all times, with a 10% tolerance.
• Weight Limit: Maximum 6 kg, with a 5% tolerance allowed, including weapons and battery.
• Power: Strictly electric. LiPo batteries must be securely insulated.
• Control: Wired or wireless (2.4 GHz / 5.8 GHz). A fail-safe mechanism is mandatory to halt the bot upon signal loss.

Allowed Weapons:

• Flippers & Lifting Devices: For arena-out maneuvers.
• Cutters & Saws: For structural damage.
• Spinning Hammers & Weighted Drummers: For high-impact strikes.
• Magnetic Weapons: For immobilization strategies.

Prohibited Weapons:

• Flame-based weapons, liquids, or projectiles.
• Electromagnetic or RF disruption devices.
• Entanglement devices such as nets, wires, or strings.
• Smoke or light-based weapons that impair visibility.

Match Rules & Gameplay:

• Push-Out Rule: Any bot pushed out of the arena is considered knocked out (KO).
• Timeouts: Each team is allowed 3 minutes per round for emergency minor repairs. Exceeding this time will lead to point deductions.
• Tapping Out: A team can signal the referee to voluntarily forfeit a match.
• Tie-Breaker: In the event of a draw, a 5-minute rematch will be conducted immediately.

Official Terms & Conditions — Techno Vision

Eligibility & Registration:

• Participation is open to eligible students as specified for each individual event.
• Participants must provide accurate information during registration.
• Registration is considered confirmed only after completion of the prescribed registration process/payment, where applicable.
• Participants may be required to carry a valid college/student ID during the event.
• The organizers reserve the right to reject or cancel a registration if the participant fails to meet the eligibility requirements.

Event-Specific Rules:

• Techno Vision may consist of multiple competitions, each having its own rules, eligibility criteria, time limits, and judging criteria.
• Participants are responsible for reading and following the rules applicable to the event in which they participate.
• The decision of the event coordinators/judges regarding event conduct, scoring, and results shall be final, subject to applicable institutional rules.
• Participants must report at the venue at the time specified by the organizers. Late arrival may result in disqualification or denial of participation.
• The organizers may modify the schedule, venue, format, or sequence of events when reasonably necessary.

Prizes & Number of Participants:

• Prize amounts may be determined or finalized based on the number of valid participating teams/participants registered for a particular event.
• The prize amount announced at the time of registration may be subject to revision depending on the final number of participating teams/participants.
• If the number of participating teams/participants is substantially lower than the expected or minimum participation level, the organizers reserve the right to reduce, restructure, or revise the prize pool.
• Any such revision will be communicated to participants as soon as reasonably practicable.
• The organizers may decide not to award a particular prize/category if the minimum participation requirement is not met or if the event is cancelled.
• Prizes are subject to applicable college/institutional policies and may be provided in the form of cash, vouchers, trophies, certificates, products, or other announced rewards.
• The organizers shall not be responsible for delays in prize distribution caused by administrative, banking, sponsorship, or institutional procedures.

Judging & Results:

• Judging will be conducted according to the criteria established for each event.
• Judges' decisions shall be treated as final for the competition, except in cases of demonstrable procedural error or violation of the published rules.
• In case of a tie, the organizers may conduct a tie-breaker or apply the event's predetermined tie-breaking criteria.
• Any protest or objection must be raised with the designated event coordinator within the specified period.

Disqualification:

A participant/team may be disqualified for:

• Cheating, plagiarism, or use of unauthorized material.
• Misrepresentation of identity or registration information.
• Misconduct, harassment, threats, or abusive behavior.
• Damage to college/event property.
• Use of prohibited equipment, software, substances, or materials.
• Violation of event-specific rules.
• Attempting to manipulate judging, scoring, or competition results.
• Failure to comply with reasonable instructions of event coordinators or college authorities.

Disqualification may result in forfeiture of participation and/or prize eligibility, subject to applicable rules.

Code of Conduct:

• All participants are expected to maintain appropriate discipline and respectful behavior.
• The organizers may remove individuals whose conduct disrupts the event or creates a safety/security concern.
• Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. The organizers are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property except where liability is imposed by applicable law.

Changes, Cancellation & Force Majeure:

• The organizers reserve the right to postpone, reschedule, modify, or cancel an event due to circumstances including insufficient participation, venue restrictions, technical problems, institutional directions, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
• If an event is cancelled, the organizers will communicate the applicable procedure regarding registrations and/or refunds, if any.
• The organizers will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of significant changes whenever circumstances permit.

Photography & Media:

• By participating in Techno Vision, participants acknowledge that photographs, videos, and general event footage may be captured during the event.
• Such material may be used by the organizers/college for legitimate event-related purposes, including promotional material, social media, reports, and future event publicity, subject to applicable law and institutional policies.
• Participants who have specific concerns regarding media use should contact the event organizers before participation.

Intellectual Property:

• Participants must ensure that any content, presentation, design, software, music, artwork, or other material submitted by them does not unlawfully infringe the rights of others.
• Participants retain ownership of their original work unless otherwise specified in the rules of a particular competition.
• The organizers may use winning/submitted entries for event documentation and promotional purposes where permitted by the applicable event rules.

Responsibility & Safety:

• Participants must follow all safety instructions and college rules while attending the event.
• Participants are responsible for their own conduct and compliance with applicable laws and institutional policies.
• The organizers may take appropriate action where a participant's conduct presents a safety, security, or disciplinary concern.

Interpretation of Rules:

• These Terms & Conditions should be read together with the specific rules announced for each competition.
• Where an event-specific rule conflicts with a general provision, the event-specific rule will apply to that competition.
• The organizers reserve the right to clarify ambiguities and make reasonable procedural decisions necessary for the smooth conduct of the event.
• No verbal assurance from an individual volunteer or participant coordinator shall override the officially published rules unless confirmed by the authorized organizing committee.

Acceptance:

By registering for or participating in Techno Vision, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and the specific rules applicable to their chosen event.

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to take reasonable decisions necessary to ensure fairness, safety, and smooth conduct of Techno Vision, while communicating material changes to participants.
