About the Competition:

  • Sahitya – The Creative Ink Challenge at Sankalp 11.0 is a celebration of creativity, imagination, and the timeless art of expression. This competition invites participants to transform ideas into compelling narratives, evoke emotions through powerful words, and create literary works that inspire, engage, and leave a lasting impression.
  • Whether your strength lies in storytelling, essays, poetry, or creative writing, Sahitya offers the perfect platform to showcase your imagination and writing skills.

General Guidelines:

  • The competition consists of two online rounds.
  • Individual participation only.
  • There is no limit on the number of participants from an institute.
  • The decision of the organizing committee will be final and binding in all matters.
  • Certificates will be awarded only to the Winner, First Runner-up, and Second Runner-up.

Event Format:

Round 1 - Online Assessment

  • This is an elimination round.
  • Duration: 20 minutes.
  • Total Questions: 20 multiple-choice questions.
  • There is no negative marking.
  • Participants can review and modify their answers before final submission.

Round 2 - Creative Writing Submission

- Shortlisted participants will receive a theme or statement based on which they must write an original article.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Only .docx files will be accepted.
  • The submission must include a cover page containing:
  • University/Institute Name.
  • College Name.
  • Participant's Name.
  • Contact Information.
  • Word limit: 1,000 words.
  • Font: Times New Roman.
  • Font size: 14 pt.
  • Line spacing: 1.
  • Margins: Normal (2.54 cm on all sides).
  • Images and graphics are not permitted.
  • File naming format: TeamName_ParticipantName.docx.
  • Selected participants will be notified via email.

Judging Criteria:

  • Originality and creativity.
  • Relevance to the theme.
  • Clarity of thought and coherence.
  • Language, grammar, and vocabulary.
  • Overall impact of the write-up.

Detailed judging criteria will be shared with the shortlisted participants.
