ROBO RACE — Precision. Power. Victory.
Get ready to put your robotics, control, and problem-solving skills to the test!
Robo Race is a competitive robotics event at Pravrutti 2.0, the National-Level Technical Fest of Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bengaluru. Teams will operate their custom RC bots through a specially designed obstacle track, where speed, precision, control, stability, and obstacle-handling ability are put to the test.
Eligibility:
- The event is open to participants interested in robotics, engineering, technology, and RC-based robotic systems.
- Participants must register as a team of 2–4 members.
- Inter-college teams are allowed.
- Participants from different engineering/technical specializations may form a team.
- Each participant must complete the registration process through Unstop.
- Teams must nominate one member as the team leader, who will be responsible for communication and registration-related requirements.
Team Formation:
- Minimum team size: 2 members
- Maximum team size: 4 members
- Teams may consist of participants from different colleges and specializations.
- A participant should be part of only one registered team.
Event Format:
- The event consists of a robotic obstacle race.
- Each team will operate its custom RC bot on a specially designed track.
- The track will contain obstacles and challenges requiring careful control and manoeuvring.
- Key hints regarding the track will be provided before the commencement of the event.
- Teams must use their time strategically to understand the track and plan their approach.
- The performance of the team will depend on factors such as:
- Speed
- Precision
- Control
- Stability
- Obstacle handling
- Successful completion of the track

- Event Duration: 3 Hours
- Date: 15 October 2026
- Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Registration Fee: ₹200 per team
Registration is subject to approval.
Prizes:
- 1st Prize: ₹10,000
- 2nd Prize: ₹7,000
- 3rd Prize: ₹5,000
Total Prize Pool: ₹22,000
Rules & Regulations:
- Each team must consist of 2–4 members.
- Teams must report at the venue within the specified reporting time.
- Teams must operate their own custom RC bot for the competition.
- The bot must be capable of being remotely controlled by the participating team.
- Participants must follow all instructions given by the event coordinators and volunteers.
- Teams must navigate the designated track while attempting to clear the obstacles successfully.
- Participants must not intentionally interfere with another team's robot or performance.
- Any form of unfair practice, deliberate damage to the track, or interference with event equipment may lead to disqualification.
- Participants are responsible for the safety and proper functioning of their own robot.
- Teams must follow the instructions provided by the organisers regarding the track, starting procedure, attempts, and robot operation.
- The organisers reserve the right to make necessary decisions regarding event execution and disputes.
- The decision of the event coordinators/judges regarding the competition will be final.
