Startup Premier League is an IPL-style auction simulation where teams represent restaurant startups competing to build the strongest marketing & growth lineup by bidding for Indian influencers - testing entrepreneurial strategy, budgeting, and branding logic.
Event Flow:
- Each team represents a distinct restaurant startup with a unique backstory and core strength.
- Teams start with an equal virtual budget of ₹25 Lakh and bid on a pool of 60 Indian influencers (Tier-1, Tier-2, Tier-3) across categories like food reviewers, lifestyle creators, regional influencers, and reels-first creators.
- Influencers are auctioned one by one through open bidding; teams must acquire a minimum of 8 influencers each, aligning choices with their restaurant's backstory and business model.
Rules:
- All teams start with an equal virtual budget (₹25L); influencers are auctioned one by one until the highest bidder wins.
- Minimum 8 influencers required per team; unsold influencers can be re-auctioned at base price.
- Overspending on one influencer may weaken overall strategy.
- Judges' decision is final.
