Opportunity brief
Corporate Mafia is a finance-themed social deduction game where participants become employees of a fictional listed company, XYZ Corporation. Unknown to the company, one or more Insider Traders are secretly manipulating the market from within. Participants must use logic, observation, communication, and strategic thinking to identify and eliminate the Insider Trader(s) before the company's reputation and stock value collapse.
Event Flow:
- Registration: Participants register and are assigned an Employee ID.
- Role Assignment: Roles (Insider Trader, CEO, CFO, Auditor, SEBI Officer, Journalist, Investor/Employee) are secretly and confidentially distributed.
- Game Briefing: The moderator explains objectives, role responsibilities, discussion rules, voting procedure, and winning conditions.
- Corporate Investigation: The game runs through repeated Market Cycles - a "Market Closed" phase where special roles act privately, followed by a "Trading Session" where the moderator announces a market update, participants discuss and vote to eliminate a suspected employee, and the eliminated role is revealed.
Rules:
- Participants must keep their assigned roles confidential throughout the game.
- Voting to eliminate a suspected employee is anonymous.
- Company Team wins if all Insider Traders are identified and eliminated; Insider Team wins if they gain control of voting undetected.
- Judges'/moderator's decision is final.
