Responsibilities
- Research, write, edit, and proofread original content for digital and publishing platforms.
- Develop news-led articles, features, explainers, briefs, and other editorial materials.
- Verify facts, track relevant developments, and ensure content is accurate, timely, and well structured.
- Adapt tone, format, and storytelling approach for different audiences and channels.
- Collaborate with editors and internal stakeholders to meet content calendars and publishing deadlines.
- Revise drafts based on editorial feedback while maintaining consistency in language and style.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional experience in content writing, news, publishing, journalism, or a closely related field.
- Strong command of written English, grammar, research, and editorial best practices.
- Ability to transform complex information into clear, engaging, and reader-friendly copy.
- Excellent attention to detail, fact-checking ability, and deadline management skills.
- Applicants should be comfortable working from the office in Andheri West, Mumbai.
