Knot and Strand is a strategic, hands-on competition by VIT Business School that puts your critical thinking, decision-making, risk assessment, and resource management to the test.
Across three intense rounds, teams will decode blueprints, build structures, compete for valuable contracts, and navigate hazardous routes where every decision can make or break their score.
Rounds
Round 1 – First Light: Identify decoys, analyze the blueprint, and assemble the correct structure. Your performance determines your starting advantage.
Round 2 – Chiral Network: Bid strategically for delivery contracts and routes, then tackle hidden hazards and puzzles while managing your resources.
Round 3 – One Last Mile: The top teams face a final high-value contract. With hazards revealed, make the right bid, choose wisely, and maximize your final profit.
Scoring:
Round Profit = Delivered Cargo Value − Bid Cost − Hazard Costs
The team with the highest cumulative score across all three rounds takes the win.
