Best Management Team – INVICTUS is a two-day strategic management simulation where teams operate as independent zones within the fictional ARKK ecosystem. Each team manages a limited ARC treasury, navigates crises, develops solutions, promotes its products, negotiates with other zones, and ultimately defends its decisions before the Command Panel.
This competition goes beyond conventional business cases. It tests your ability to think strategically, manage resources, solve problems, negotiate, communicate, lead, and make decisions under pressure.
Competition Format
Round 1 — Bidding
Teams bid ARC on questions and zones, putting their risk appetite, financial decision-making, and strategic thinking to the test.
Round 2 — Build Order
Teams diagnose a crisis and develop a practical, budget-constrained solution using the resources available in their assigned zone.
Tested: Problem-solving, crisis management, resource utilisation, and decision-making.
Round 3 — Promotion
Teams pitch their zone's product, capabilities, and strengths while strategically protecting sensitive information.
Tested: Communication, marketing strategy, persuasion, and information management.
Round 4 — Press
Face a simulated press conference where challenging questions put your team's decisions, mission, and vision under scrutiny.
Tested: Communication, confidence, stress management, and adaptability.
Round 5 — The Table
Enter formal negotiations with other zones and trade products, services, and ARC through structured contracts.
Tested: Negotiation, strategic thinking, communication, and collaboration.
Round 6 — Command
The final accountability round.
Teams must defend their decisions, actions, and overall strategy before the Command Panel.
Tested: Leadership, accountability, strategic reasoning, and decision-making.
