Opportunity brief

Shockeen Bakers is hiring for Product Sales Intern About Shockeen Shockeen is a cupcake bakery in Delhi. Our corporate side sells to offices, clinics, salons, schools and event teams who need gifting boxes that actually taste like something — client gifting, employee birthdays, festival hampers, launch-day boxes. We are early. The product works, the pricing works, the delivery works. What we don't have yet is someone knocking on doors. That's this role. Responsibilities Build the list. Map offices, clinics, co-working spaces, salons, coaching centres and event/HR agencies across East and Central Delhi. Find the person who signs off on gifting — usually HR, admin, office manager or founder. Reach out. Cold calls, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and walk-ins. Most of your wins will come from walking into a reception and asking for the admin head. Drop samples. Carry a Box of 6 to a prospect, hand it over, and follow up in 48 hours. This is our single highest-converting move — you'll do a lot of it. Pitch the offer. Volume ladder (5% off from 50 pieces, 10% from 100, 15% from 250), a free logo mockup on a branded box, 2–4 day lead time, and a first-order money-back promise if the boxes don't match what we showed. Close and hand over. Confirm flavour split, quantity, date, delivery address and payment. Hand the confirmed order to the founder for baking and dispatch. Keep the CRM honest. Every conversation logged in a shared sheet — company, contact, designation, stage, next action, next date. An untracked lead is a lost lead. Farm repeats. Festivals, Diwali, birthdays, quarterly town halls. The second order from a happy account is easier than any first order — you own that follow-up. Requirements You're comfortable walking into a building you've never been to and asking for the decision maker. This is the whole job. If cold approach scares you, this role will be miserable for you. Fluent, confident Hindi and English — you'll switch between them mid-sentence. Currently studying or recently graduated (any stream). Sales, marketing or hospitality background is a plus, not a requirement. Based in Delhi with your own phone and the ability to travel locally (travel reimbursed on approved routes). Organised enough to keep a follow-up list and actually work it. Presentable. You are the first impression of a premium food brand. You do not need prior sales experience. You do need to be the kind of person who makes the tenth call after nine people said no.
