As an early-stage startup, interns get the opportunity to work directly with the Founder and Engineering Team, contribute to real product development, and gain practical startup experience. Role Overview We are looking for a passionate, self-driven, and problem-solving Full Stack Developer Intern to help build, enhance, and scale the GigsForMe platform. You will work on frontend and backend development, APIs, databases, authentication, debugging, testing, and product features while collaborating with the Founder, Engineering Team, and UI/UX designers. Key Responsibilities Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces. Build reusable frontend components. Convert UI/UX designs into functional web experiences. Develop secure and scalable backend APIs. Build and maintain server-side application logic. Integrate databases and third-party services. Implement authentication and authorization. Design and manage database schemas. Develop new product features and improve existing functionality. Debug, test, and fix application issues. Write clean, maintainable, and documented code. Use Git and GitHub for version control. Participate in code reviews and product discussions. Collaborate with designers and other team members. Contribute ideas for improving the GigsForMe platform. Requirements Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. Self-taught developers with strong programming skills are also welcome. Freshers are welcome to apply. Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and Next.js. Basic understanding of Node.js, Express.js, and backend API development. Familiarity with REST APIs. Basic knowledge of MongoDB or PostgreSQL. Basic understanding of Supabase or Firebase. Familiarity with Git and GitHub. Familiarity with Tailwind CSS. Basic understanding of authentication such as JWT/OAuth. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Good communication and teamwork. Self-driven attitude and willingness to learn. Good to Have — Not Mandatory Vercel deployment experience. Personal, freelance, or open-source projects. AI/LLM API integration experience. Knowledge of software architecture and scalable applications. Agile development experience. Interest in AI-powered products and startup ecosystems. Interest in entrepreneurship and building products from zero to one. What You'll Gain Hands-on experience building a real AI-powered startup product. GigsForMe is an early-stage, pre-funding startup. While there is currently no monetary compensation, interns receive practical software-development experience, founder mentorship, meaningful project ownership, an Internship Certificate, and a performance-based LOR.
