About the role
Think beyond the debate. Negotiate, strategise, and shape policy!
Essenzia - The Economics Society of Ramanujan College invites you to participate in an exciting Mini MUN-Style Economic Policy Simulation on:
"From Ownership to Access: Who Wins in the Subscription Economy?"
What happens when companies, consumers and the government have conflicting interests in an economy increasingly driven by subscriptions? Who should benefit, and what should India's approach be?
Teams of 2-4 participants will represent different stakeholders, such as Apple, Netflix, the Government, consumer organisations, RBI, etc.
Two exciting rounds:
Round 1: Present your stakeholder's position, challenge other teams, discuss policy proposals and vote. Round 2: Face a new hypothetical crisis, rethink your strategies, negotiate and work towards a common policy resolution.
Stakeholder briefs will be shared 24 hours in advance to help teams prepare.
Exciting cash prizes for the winning team!
