Opportunity brief
What's stopping your startup from reaching its next milestone?
Building a startup brings practical challenges.
You may have launched a product, acquired your first customers, started generating revenue, or found early market validation. But moving to the next stage often requires solving a specific business problem.
It could be:
- Sales
- Go-to-market
- Marketing
- Pricing
- Finance
- Fundraising
- Operations
- Technology
- Expansion
- Or another business challenge
The Founder's Next Move is a Preconsultify competition focused on the real business problem your startup is facing today.
This is not a competition about pitching a new startup idea.
We want founders to identify a genuine challenge, understand what is causing it, explore possible approaches with an experienced professional, and present a practical plan for their next move.
Round 1: Pitch Deck Submission
Submit a PDF pitch deck of no more than 8 slides.
Please structure your deck as follows:
- Team
- Introduce the founder/co-founders and briefly mention relevant experience.
- Problem
- What problem are you solving, and who faces it?
- Solution
- What does your startup offer and how does it solve the problem?
- Why Now?
- Why is this the right time for this startup and opportunity?
- Product
- Briefly show what you have built and how it works. Screenshots or visuals can be included.
- Traction
- Share your progress so far, such as customers, users, revenue, pilots, partnerships or other meaningful metrics.
- Competition
- Who are your competitors or alternatives? How is your approach different?
- Funding & Next Milestone
- Mention funding raised, if applicable, and clearly state:
- What milestone do you want to achieve next?
- What is currently stopping you from reaching it?
- What have you already tried?
Important: Your deck should not exceed 8 slides. Keep it focused on your actual business and the challenge you are currently trying to solve.
