About the Competition

Ecolibrium, the Economics Society of PGDAV (M) College, presents its inaugural Article Writing Competition, inviting undergraduate students to examine the forces shaping the global economy critically. Centred around the theme "The Economics of Power in the 21st Century", the competition encourages participants to explore how nations, corporations, institutions and individuals exercise economic influence through trade, technology, finance, resources and labour.

The competition aims to foster original thinking, rigorous economic analysis, and informed perspectives on contemporary global developments. Winning entries will be considered for publication in Arthavistaar, Ecolibrium's annual economics newsletter.

  • Eligibility & Participation
