About Maudrik V7.0
Maudrik is the flagship policy case event organised by the Finance & Economics Society, NSUT.
The event provides participants with an opportunity to step into the shoes of policymakers and tackle complex issues that have a direct impact on India's economic and social landscape.
Participants will be challenged to move beyond identifying problems and instead develop practical, evidence-based and implementable policy solutions.
The competition welcomes students from diverse academic backgrounds. Whether from engineering, management, commerce, economics, humanities, or any other discipline, participants are encouraged to bring their unique perspectives to the table.
The competition is designed to test not only knowledge, but also the ability to analyse complex situations, think critically, work collaboratively, and communicate solutions effectively.
Eligibility and Rules:
- The competition is open to all college students across academic backgrounds.
- Cross-college teams are allowed and encouraged.
- Each team must comprise 2–4 members.
- Every participant can be a part of only one team.
- The quiz round will be conducted online.
- The problem statement will be released to teams qualifying for the case submission round.
- Case submissions will be made through the prescribed online platform.
- The top 80 teams from the quiz round will qualify for the case submission round.
- The top 20 teams from the case submission round will qualify for the final presentation round.
- Finalists will be required to present their solutions physically at the NSUT campus.
- All communication and official updates will be shared through the designated official communication channels.
- The decision of the organisers and jury will be final and binding.
- Participants will be deemed to have accepted all competition rules upon registration.
- The organisers reserve the right to make minor changes to the competition structure, timelines, or rules if necessary.
