In-Progress is an operations management challenge that combines data analysis, critical thinking, and AI. Participants work with a custom AI chatbot that may provide incomplete or incorrect recommendations. Your task is to question its outputs, apply management concepts, and develop practical, data-driven solutions.
Format
- Receive an operations-related problem or case.
- Analyse recommendations generated by the AI chatbot.
- Identify errors, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and present a practical, data-driven solution.
Rules
- Critically evaluate AI-generated responses rather than accepting them blindly.
- Support recommendations with logical reasoning and relevant data.
- Complete all tasks within the allotted time.
- Judges' decisions will be final.
Evaluation
Critical thinking, data analysis, application of operations concepts, effective AI evaluation, and feasibility of solutions.
Eligibility
Open to students from all colleges and specialisations. Team size and formation will be specified by the organisers.
Registration Fee: ₹250/- per team
