About the Role We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic Assistant Director Intern to support the Creative Director across pre-production, shoots, and post-shoot coordination. This is a practical, field-based role involving active film sets, hotel teams, talent coordination, production planning, and travel. Key Responsibilities Pre-production Understand the creative brief, script, treatment, and visual direction. Assist with shot breakdowns, shot lists, schedules, and call sheets. Participate in location recces and record production requirements. Coordinate with hotel representatives, crew members, models, staff, and vendors. Confirm that locations, rooms, props, costumes, and talent are ready before filming. Help plan sequences around natural light, weather, and property operations. During Production Support the Creative Director in executing planned scenes and shots. Brief and coordinate models, hotel staff, and other participants. Track completed, pending, and additional shots. Maintain continuity across performances, costumes, props, room arrangements, and guest activities. Ensure that the next location, scene, talent, and required elements are ready. Coordinate between the direction, camera, drone, production, and property teams. Identify delays or production issues and communicate them promptly. Take production notes and reference photographs when required. Post-shoot Organise shot records, continuity references, and production notes. Help identify pending shots or reshoot requirements. Participate in post-shoot reviews with the Creative Director. Qualifications Studying or recently graduated in filmmaking, mass communication, media studies, visual communication, photography, advertising, or a related field; or able to demonstrate equivalent video-production experience. Freshers are welcome but should have completed relevant studies, personal projects, internships, freelance work, short films, or other video assignments. Basic understanding of filmmaking stages, shot types, continuity, and on-set workflows. A portfolio, showreel, college project, short film, or relevant work sample is required. Skills We Value Strong interest in film direction and visual storytelling. Good observation, organisation, and coordination skills. Clear and professional communication. Ability to follow instructions and anticipate production requirements. Calm and responsible approach under changing shoot conditions. Basic proficiency with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and production documents. Working proficiency in Hindi and English. Punctuality, discipline, ownership, and willingness to learn. Role Requirements Available for a full-time, on-site internship in Udaipur. Willing to travel across India for shoots. Comfortable with early call times, outdoor locations, extended shoot days, and changing schedules. Professional and respectful while working with clients, hotel guests, property teams, and crew members. What You Will Learn How hospitality films move from creative concept to production. How to prepare shot lists, schedules, and production plans. How to coordinate talent, crew, clients, and locations. How directors manage performance, continuity, light, time, and changing conditions on set. Full-Time Opportunity Strong performers may be considered for a full-time position after completing the internship, depending on performance, team compatibility, and company requirements.
