Responsibilities of the Intern:
- Assisting with creating, scheduling, and posting engaging content on Desire4Travels' social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.). This includes writing captions, designing posts (using tools like Canva), curating images, and researching relevant travel hashtags.
- Updating and optimizing the website's content, blog posts, and landing pages for SEO (Search Engine Optimization). This may involve researching and implementing keywords, writing meta descriptions, and ensuring content aligns with current SEO best practices.
- Creating, segmenting, and scheduling email campaigns targeted at potential customers, including newsletters, promotions, and updates on upcoming trips.
Requirements:
- The candidate should have a basic understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms such as social media management tools, email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact), and design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark). Familiarity with Google Analytics, SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Yoast), and content management systems (CMS) is a plus but not required.
- A genuine interest in travel, tourism, and the digital marketing field is essential. The candidate should have a passion for learning about current travel trends, creating content that inspires wanderlust, and staying updated on new digital marketing techniques. An enthusiasm for helping grow the Desire4Travels brand and its community will be important in driving success in the role.
