NexBuildOn Community is hiring for Community Manager Bangalore Region!
Responsibilities
- Represent NexBuildOn Community professionally across the assigned Bangalore region.
- Identify engineering colleges, universities, student organizations, and technology communities for outreach.
- Introduce NexBuildOn initiatives and support the establishment of college chapters.
- Recommend enthusiastic students for chapter leadership opportunities and guide them through the chapter process.
- Build relationships with students, faculty members, placement cells, and community representatives.
- Promote workshops, hackathons, Tech Talks, and other technical initiatives.
- Coordinate with the Core Team, attend online meetings, and submit weekly outreach and progress updates.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate programme at a recognised college or university; students from all academic disciplines may apply.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, networking, and public-speaking abilities.
- Interest in technology, leadership, community building, public relations, and event management.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Willingness to contribute approximately 5–8 hours per week.
- Prior leadership, volunteering, or community experience is welcome but not mandatory.
