About the Company
Cohortta is building a nationwide community for ambitious students, professionals, creators, entrepreneurs, and future leaders. The platform brings people together through meaningful connections, learning opportunities, events, and locally led initiatives. As a Chapter President, you will serve as a trusted representative of Cohortta and help establish an active community in your college, city, or wider network.
Responsibilities
- Build and grow the Cohortta community through outreach, conversations, and local initiatives.
- Recruit, welcome, and engage members while creating an inclusive chapter culture.
- Plan and coordinate meetups, workshops, networking sessions, and other community activities.
- Develop relationships with colleges, student groups, businesses, creators, and professionals.
- Recruit and coordinate a small chapter team, assigning responsibilities and encouraging ownership.
- Represent Cohortta professionally across online and offline channels.
- Support community marketing, social media activity, partnerships, and local growth campaigns.
- Track chapter progress and share regular updates with the central Cohortta team.
Requirements
- Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building abilities.
- A leadership mindset, proactive approach, and willingness to take initiative.
- Good organization and people-management skills.
- Interest in communities, events, startups, marketing, networking, or entrepreneurship.
- Students and working professionals who enjoy bringing people together are welcome to apply.
- Previous leadership experience is helpful but not mandatory; motivation and ownership matter most.
This is a part-time, remote internship with a monthly stipend of ₹2,000 and a two-month duration. Selected candidates will go through application review, shortlisting, an interview, chapter-plan discussion, and onboarding. The role offers practical experience in community building, leadership, partnerships, event coordination, and grassroots growth, along with networking opportunities and a certificate.
