About the Olympiad
The National Accounting Olympiad is a flagship initiative of the School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR Campus. Now in its 5th edition, it provides a national platform for young, talented students to test their accounting skills, solve conceptual and challenging problems, and discover their aptitude for the subject. The competition culminates in a Valedictory Ceremony recognizing top performers.
Eligibility & Categories
- Category 1: 11th Standard
- Category 2: 12th Standard
- Category 3: Undergraduates (B.Com / BBA)
Examination Pattern
- 50 Multiple Choice Questions
- 2 marks per question
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted per wrong answer
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Calculators are not allowed

- Category 1: Accounting Equations, GAAP, Journal Entries, Trial Balance, P&L Statements, Balance Sheets, Depreciation, Bank Reconciliation, Inventory Valuation, Rectification of Errors, Ratio Analysis
- Category 2: Company Accounts, Partnership Accounts (Goodwill, Admission, Retirement, Death, Dissolution), Issue/Redemption of Shares & Debentures, Final Accounts, Financial Statement Analysis, Cash Flow Statements, Ratio Analysis
