Capture the essence, energy, and vibrant moments of Synergy '26 through your lens!

Whether you shoot with a professional DSLR or your smartphone, your mission is to immortalize the spirit, candid emotions, and atmosphere of the fest. Frame the best perspectives of campus life across the 4 days and share your defining visual story.

Guidelines & Rules:

• Originality & Location:
• The overarching theme is Open, but all entries must be 100% original and clicked strictly on the IIIT Bangalore campus during Synergy '26 (Nov 12–15, 2026).
• Photos clicked outside the fest dates or outside campus grounds will be disqualified.
• Equipment: Any camera device is welcomed—DSLRs, mirrorless bodies, point-and-shoots, or smartphones.
• Editing & AI Policy:
• Basic post-processing (cropping, exposure adjustment, color grading/correction) is permitted.
• Heavy digital composite manipulation, composite element replacement, and AI generative fills/prompts are strictly prohibited.
• Plagiarism, stock imagery, or AI generation will lead to immediate disqualification.
• Submission Limit: Each participant can submit only 1 final photograph.
• Decisions: The decisions of the judging panel and organizing committee are final and binding.

Submission Guidelines:

• Upload your final photograph to a Google Drive folder (ensure access settings are set to "Anyone with the link can view").
• Submit the direct Google Drive link through the Submission Round portal on Unstop before the November 16, 2026 deadline.
• Tip: Keep original RAW/uncompressed EXIF metadata handy in case verification is requested.

Evaluation Criteria:

Entries will be scored out of 100 based on:

• Creativity & Originality (30%): Perspective, uniqueness of vision, and visual approach.
• Composition & Technical Quality (30%): Framing, focus, lighting, depth, and color control.
• Relevance to the Fest (20%): How effectively the photo captures the spirit of Synergy '26.
• Storytelling & Impact (20%): Mood, emotional resonance, and narrative depth.

Rewards & Prizes:

• Winner (1st Place): ₹5,000 Cash Prize + Certificate of Excellence
• 1st Runner-Up (2nd Place): ₹3,000 Cash Prize + Certificate of Excellence
• 2nd Runner-Up (3rd Place): ₹2,000 Cash Prize + Certificate of Excellence
• All eligible participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.
