Opportunity brief
What sets it apart:
- Real problems, not classroom cases
- Judged by the alumni who actually faced the problem
- 5–6 finalist teams in the final round
Rules and Regulations:
- Participation must be in teams of 1-3.
- Multiple teams from the same institute are allowed.
- No person should be a member of more than one team.
- Participants are requested to adhere to the timing specified for each event.
- All participants must carry a valid ID card of their institute.
- The decision of the judges and the organizing committee for 'The Hot Seat' will be final and binding.
Round 1: Quiz (Online):
- Date: 20 September
- Teams qualifying in this round will move to the next round: Case Submission.
Round 2: Case Submission (Online):
- Start Date: 22 September
- End Date: 24 September (last date for submission)
- Top 5–6 teams will be shortlisted to move to the final round -Case Presentation.
Round 3: Case Presentation:
- Date: 26 September
- Winner, first runner-up, and second runner-up will be declared at the end of this round.
Judging Criteria (Final Round):
- Problem understanding: 20%
- Recommendation: 30%
- Analytical rigour: 25%
- Communication: 15%
- Q&A : 10%
