AMETEK is hiring for the role of AI Engineer/ Developer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Implement well-defined components in Python, such as data preparation, document-processing pipelines, RAG components, prompts, scripts and APIs.
- Support testing and evaluation of solutions, and document results, code and setup clearly.
- Quickly learn the team's tools, platforms, coding standards and engineering domain context.
- Technology awareness: explore the latest AI tools and techniques and share useful findings with the team.
- Seek and act on feedback from reviews; use version control and team practices consistently.
- Work with the Technical Lead - AI and BU engineers to understand needs and support user testing and feedback.
- Update the Technical Lead - AI on task progress at pre-defined intervals, and raise blockers early.
- Maintain clear records of test results and issues to support KPI and dashboard reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML or a related engineering discipline.
- 0 to 2 years of experience, including internships, academic or personal projects in AI/ML.
- Working proficiency in Python; basic understanding of machine learning and LLM concepts.
- Exposure to Generative AI or RAG through projects, coursework or self-learning is an advantage.
