AaitaLabs is hiring for the role of WordPress Development Intern! About AaitaLabs: AaitaLabs is seeking a talented and motivated WordPress Development Intern to join our remote team. We are focused on creating impactful digital experiences and are looking for someone passionate about web development and design to help us enhance our online presence. Responsibilities: Improve landing pages and product pages with better layout, clarity, trust elements, and stronger CTAs, focusing on conversion-driven changes. Implement changes directly in WordPress/WooCommerce using clean theme/template edits, avoiding excessive plugin usage. Optimize website performance by making it faster and lighter (e.g., optimizing images, reducing unused scripts/styles, minimizing plugins, and improving Core Web Vitals). Ensure the website is fully responsive and provides an excellent user experience across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices. Apply basic technical SEO hygiene while making changes, including site structure, headings, metadata, and internal linking. Requirements: Solid experience with WordPress and WooCommerce (portfolio/examples required). Comfortable with both web design (UI/UX) and development implementation. Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and WordPress/PHP basics (themes, templates, hooks). Performance-driven mindset, capable of improving site speed without relying solely on plugins. Ability to take ownership of tasks and work effectively with minimal guidance.
