Opportunity brief

Roles:

  • Work closely with the engineering team to test and improve the quality of EdunodeX.
  • Explore the product across different user roles and identify bugs, edge cases and broken workflows.
  • Learn and apply AI-assisted software testing and test automation.
  • Contribute to building automated tests using AI coding tools and Playwright.

Responsibilities:

  • Test EdunodeX across different user roles.
  • Test critical workflows including admissions, fees, payments, attendance, communication and more.
  • Explore the product and actively look for things that can break.
  • Reproduce bugs and document them clearly.
  • Use Claude Code and other AI coding tools to create automated tests.
  • Learn and use Playwright for browser automation.
  • Create realistic test data using AI.
  • Run regression tests when new features are released.
  • Test Hindi, Tamil and Kannada interfaces.
  • Test mobile applications and important user journeys.
  • Help test APIs and integrations.
  • Convert important manually discovered bugs into automated tests.
  • Review AI-generated tests and verify that they actually test the intended behaviour.
  • Use AI to generate test cases, Playwright scripts, test data, investigate bugs, identify edge cases and analyse error messages.

Requirements:

  • Previous professional QA/testing experience is not required.
  • Curious and naturally good at finding things that don't work.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new tools.
  • Interested in AI and coding.
  • Comfortable experimenting with software.
  • Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
  • Able to explain technical problems clearly.
  • Willing to learn basic programming.
  • Comfortable with Git/terminal or willing to learn.

Able to work independently.

We don't want someone who blindly trusts AI. We want someone who asks: "How do I know this is actually correct?"
