Robo Race
About the Competition
Robo Race is a technical competition where teams design and build a remote-controlled or autonomous robot capable of navigating a themed obstacle track in the shortest possible time.
Eligibility
- Open to all undergraduate and diploma engineering students. - Each team must consist of 2–4 members.
Format
- Preliminary qualifying runs will be conducted.
- Qualified teams will advance to the knockout final.
- Robots will be evaluated based on:
- Speed
- Obstacle clearance
- Adherence to specified size and weight requirements
Process
- Register as a team of 2–4 members. - Build and prepare a remote-controlled or autonomous robot. - Participate in the preliminary qualifying run. - Teams qualifying from the preliminary round will advance to the knockout final. - Final rankings will be determined based on performance in the competition.
Rules
- Participants must complete registration before the specified deadline. - A valid college ID card is mandatory. - Participants must report at least 30 minutes before the scheduled event. - Robots must comply with the specified size and weight specifications. - Participants must maintain discipline and sportsmanship throughout the event. - The decision of the judging panel and organizing committee will be final and binding. - The organizing committee may modify the rules, schedule, or format if required, with prior notice.
