Line Follower Race
About the Competition
Line Follower Race challenges participants to build an autonomous robot capable of tracking and following a marked path using sensor-based navigation.
Eligibility
- Open to all undergraduate and diploma engineering students. - Each team must consist of 1–3 members.
Format
- Participants will compete on a black-and-white track. - The track will include sharp turns and intersections. - Runs will be timed. - The fastest successful completion without deviation will be considered the winning performance.
Process
- Register individually or as a team of 1–3 members. - Prepare an autonomous line-following robot. - Participate in the designated timed run. - Navigate the black-and-white track while following the marked path. - Rankings will be determined based on completion time and successful navigation.
Rules
- Participants must complete registration before the deadline. - A valid college ID card is mandatory. - Participants must report at least 30 minutes before the event. - The robot must be capable of autonomous sensor-based navigation. - Participants must follow the designated track. - The decision of the judges and organizing committee will be final. - Any misconduct may result in disqualification.
