About the Competition
Courtroom Drama is a simulated trial exercise where teams role-play as counsel, witnesses, and judges while presenting arguments around a fictional case.
Eligibility
- Preferably open to law students. - Open to all students with an interest in mock trial. - Each team must consist of 4–6 members.
Format
- A case brief will be distributed in advance. - Teams will prepare their respective roles and arguments. - Teams will present their arguments before a jury panel consisting of practicing lawyers or faculty. - Participants may take roles such as counsel, witnesses, and judges.
Process
- Register as a team of 4–6 members. - Receive the fictional case brief in advance. - Prepare arguments and assign roles. - Report at least 30 minutes before the event. - Present the simulated trial before the jury panel. - Judges will evaluate the team's courtroom performance.
Rules
