Opportunity brief

Responsibilities: Assist in the design and development of UAV power distribution systems and electrical architectures. Design custom copper busbars, power distribution assemblies, and electrical interconnect solutions. Develop CAD models, engineering drawings, and manufacturing documentation for power system components. Research and evaluate power electronic components, connectors, wiring solutions, and manufacturing processes. Prepare wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and system integration documentation. Perform engineering calculations and support design validation for power system integration, reliability, and manufacturability. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), assembly guidelines, and technical documentation. Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and prototype planning activities. Analyze and recommend improvements to electrical system safety, reliability, and manufacturability. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support the development of robust UAV power systems. Requirements: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, Aerospace, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline. Strong interest in UAVs, power electronics, EVs, or hardware product development. Passion for practical engineering, product development, and solving real-world technical challenges. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to understand engineering drawings, technical documentation, and design concepts. Self-motivated with good communication, collaboration, and learning abilities. Willing to begin with a remote internship and transition to an in-office role based on performance. Interested in long-term growth with the potential to convert into a full-time engineering role.
