To strengthen our media efforts, we are looking for a Part-Time Video Editor who can create engaging, high-retention social media videos.
Roles:
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for YouTube, Instagram Reels, Facebook & Twitter.
- Add captions, transitions, motion graphics, and high-impact visual elements.
- Repurpose long-form content into multiple short clips.
- Maintain consistency with brand style, tone, and messaging.
- Collaborate with the content/marketing team for scripting & planning.
- Deliver polished content on defined timelines.
- Stay updated with modern editing trends, formats, and social video algorithms.
- Maintain well-organized project files, footage, and asset libraries.
What We're Looking For:
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or VN.
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and social-first video editing.
- Ability to create engaging subtitles, quick cuts, and motion text animations.
- Experience editing reels, shorts, explainers, and narrative videos.
- Basic understanding of branding, viewer psychology, and retention hooks.
- Self-driven and comfortable working independently in a remote setup.
