The Apprentice Project is hiring for Curriculum Intern – STEM Science

Responsibilities
- Support development and testing of Science, STEM, and Electronics activities, experiments, and projects.
- Assist in creating instructional videos demonstrating experiments, circuits, and hands-on activities.
- Test activities and projects for technical accuracy, feasibility, and safety.
- Support development of student-friendly explanations, demonstrations, and instructions.
- Help identify simple, affordable, and locally available materials and components.
- Support basic troubleshooting of circuits, components, and hands-on STEM activities.
- Support research and contextualisation of activities for different student and school settings.
- Update curriculum trackers, sheets, and documentation.
- Create and manage content links and organise resources on Google Drive and relevant platforms.
- Support basic video recording, editing, formatting, and quality checks.
- Identify content gaps, errors, or implementation issues and flag them to the Team Lead.
- Support other routine curriculum and coordination tasks.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of school-level Science and basic Electronics.
- Understanding of basic electronic components and circuits — LEDs, resistors, switches, sensors, batteries, motors, and breadboards.
- Ability to build, test, and troubleshoot simple electronic circuits.
- Interest in hands-on STEM, experiments, making, and project-based learning.
- Ability to explain scientific and technical concepts in a simple, student-friendly manner.
- Basic video and content creation skills are an advantage.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable with Google Sheets, Google Drive, and digital tools.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Students or recent graduates from Science, Electronics, Electrical, Engineering, STEM Education, or related fields.
- Experience with Arduino, microcontrollers, sensors, or other maker and STEM platforms is an advantage.
