About EKAM
EKAM – The Jack of All Traits is an interdisciplinary quiz competition at Barcode, presented by the Academic Team of SIMS in collaboration with Events Cell, SIMS. It is designed to bring Finance, HR, Marketing, Operations, and Data Analytics together in one competitive arena.
The competition focuses not only on what participants know, but also on how quickly and smartly they can apply their knowledge when the clock is ticking.

Eligibility & Participation
- Open to all Undergraduate and Postgraduate students across India.
- Participation is strictly team-based.
- Each team will consist of one participant from each specialization.
- Students from Finance, HR, Marketing, Operations, and Data Analytics can participate.
- Shortlisted teams must report at the venue within the stipulated reporting time on the Final Day.
A valid college or student ID must be carried for verification on the Final Day.

One-day, on-campus competition.

SIMS Pune / Barcode (Final Day only).
Round Instructions
Time limits, scoring details, and round-specific instructions will be shared before each round.
Format
Round 1 – Online Round
An online elimination round in which teams are evaluated on their performance and shortlisted for the Final Day.
Final Day – On Campus
Shortlisted teams will compete in a one-day, on-campus quiz, answering questions within a limited time. Every question carries equal points, and the team with the highest score on the Final Day wins.

Rules & Regulations
- Participation is strictly team-based.
- Participants must follow the instructions provided for each round.
- Teams must answer within the time limit given for each question.
- Late reporting or joining may result in disqualification or denial of participation in a round.
- Participants must carry a valid student or college ID on the Final Day.
- Cheating, malpractice, unauthorized assistance, or any unfair means in either round will result in immediate disqualification.
- Participants must maintain professional conduct throughout the competition.
- Electronic devices may be restricted during the Final Day.
- The organizers reserve the right to make necessary changes to the schedule or format in case of unforeseen circumstances.
- The decision of the organizing committee and judges will be final and binding.
