SUN PRISM Season 2 (1st Year Track)

Sun Pharma, India's #1 Pharma Company, is thrilled to launch the second season of PRISM (Pharma Reimagined: Innovation, Strategy & Marketing), an exciting idea challenge for top B-Schools across India. Sun Pharma has built its legacy on innovation, quality, and impact. With SUN PRISM Season 2, we invite the brightest minds from select colleges to solve real-world business challenges and nurture them towards innovation and problem-solving.

This challenge offers students a platform to showcase strategic thinking, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills, while interacting with leaders from Sun Pharma. Participants also stand a chance to secure Pre-Placement Interview (PPI) opportunities for Sun Pharma's flagship PGDM internship program (SUNSIP), making this a unique opportunity to kick-start your career with the #1 Pharma Company in India.

Through SUN PRISM, we are looking for curious, proactive, and solution-oriented individuals who can craft impactful strategies in areas like Marketing, Market Insights and innovative solutions that can address real-world business opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Open to 1st-year MBA students pursuing a 2-year full-time flagship MBA from select Institutes.
• The participants would be able to register with only their Institute email id.
• Students currently pursuing part-time, distance learning, integrated courses, and 1 year/executive MBA programs from these institutes are not eligible to participate.
• Students enrolled in 1-year executive programs at select campuses are not eligible for this program.

Team Structure:

• All Participating teams should consist of 3 members.
• One person cannot be a member of more than one team.
• All the team members must be from the same institute and they can be a mix of students from different specializations i.e. cross-specialization teams are allowed.

Competition Structure:

Virtual Case Study Launch Webinar:

• Participants will get to know the legacy of Sun Pharma and gain insights into the case study problem statement.
• Participants will have the opportunity to interact with industry leaders and get their queries addressed during the Q&A session.

Executive Summary Submission Round:

• Registered teams will work on the selected case study and submit a 2-slide PowerPoint presentation outlining their initial ideas and approach.
• The case files and submission templates can be downloaded from the respective round.
• Please submit your files in this naming convention only: Leader's First Name_Team Name_Institute Name.
• Submissions can be uploaded only in .ppt/.pptx/.pdf format. Please ensure that the file size is less than 20 MB.

SUN PRISM Brand Quiz:

• This round will consist of brand-based questions designed to test knowledge around Sun Pharma - its brands, products, key milestones, and presence in the pharmaceutical industry.
• This will be a non-eliminatory round.
• Top teams will receive exciting goodies.

Detailed Submission Round:

• Shortlisted teams will expand their initial submission into a comprehensive solution with an implementation roadmap, submitting a 7–10 slide PowerPoint presentation and an optional 2-3 minute video pitch.
• The video must be in MP4 format and should not exceed 20 MB.
• The video should include both the solution as well as the presenter (as per this sample)

• Any other supporting Excel sheets, details, etc. will need to be attached in the annexures.
• Please submit your files in this naming convention only: Leader's First Name_Team Name_Institute Name
• Submissions can be uploaded only in .ppt/.pptx/.pdf format. Please ensure that the file size is less than 20 MB.

Mentorship Session for Finalists:

• Selected finalists will get an exclusive opportunity to interact with senior leaders and experts from Sun Pharma ahead of the Grand Finale.
• This mentorship session is designed to help finalists gain valuable industry insights, perspectives, and guidance as they refine their solutions and prepare for the final round.
• Participants will have the opportunity to engage with experienced professionals, understand real-world business considerations, and seek guidance on strengthening their approach.

Grand Finale:

• The top 4 National finalist teams will present their submitted solutions to the Sun Pharma leadership in offline mode.
• Travel and stay arrangements will be made by the Sun Pharma team for non-Mumbai-based college finalist teams.

Rewards & Recognition

• National Winner will receive a cash prize of ₹1,50,000
• First Runner-up will receive a cash prize of ₹1,00,000
• *Each Campus Winner team will receive a reward of ₹10,000 in cash along with Sun Pharma Merch
• Pre-Placement Interviews (PPIs) will be extended to winners and runners-up for Summer Internships at Sun Pharma, subject to eligibility criteria.

*Selection of Campus winners will be based entirely on the quality of the final presentation and the strength of the proposed solution(to non-finalist teams). Participation from a college does not entitle that college's team(s) to receive the award. Awards will be conferred only on teams that demonstrate the highest standards of excellence as determined by the Sun Pharma evaluation panel.

Terms and Conditions

Participants are required to go through the following Terms & Conditions before registering for the event:

• All decisions in matters of eligibility, authenticity & final judgments will be with Sun Pharma.
• The format, structure & timelines of events are subject to change before the actual beginning of the event or during the event.
• If a team fails to submit an entry before the deadline, Sun Pharma reserves the right to disqualify the team from the competition.
