Opportunity brief
Google Cloud: Learn with Communities is a hands-on learning program for students who want to build real skills on Google Cloud. You follow a curated skill badge curriculum, work through guided labs on Google Skills, and earn badges that show what you can do.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Open to all students, irrespective of their academic background.
Pre-Registration Checklist:
Complete the following before filling out the enrolment form:
- Active Google Skills Account: Have an active Google Skills account and keep your account email address ready.
- Ensure that you provide a NEW Google Skills Account link created after 14th September, 2026. Otherwise, your candidature will not be accepted.
- Only badges completed during the program window will be counted.
- If you haven't completed any badges from your respective curriculum, you can use your existing account.
- If you've already completed some or all badges, we recommend creating a new Google Skills account with a different email address.

Program Structure:
1 - Create A New Active Google Skills Account
Sign up for a NEW active Google Skills account with a fresh email, then set your profile to Public so you can share your profile URL. Watch how to make your profile public →
Only new accounts created after 14th September are eligible to receive skill badges — so make sure you sign up on a fresh account for the campaign.
2 - Fill The Enrolment Form - Click here
Register through the competition page and enter Unstop as your partner along with the referral code KTQW48.
3 - Receive Your Enrolment Email
Once your enrolment is processed, you'll get a confirmation email with your unique access code. Hang tight - this is sent after registrations are collected, so expect a wait of 7–10 days.
4 - Redeem Your Access Code
Open an incognito window, follow the redemption link, and enter your access code. Sign in to Google Skills, and you'll see 9 credits ready to go. Follow the walkthrough video →
Your access code is personal, works once, and can't be shared. Use the exact link from your email — searching the catalogue won't work.
5 - Complete Your First Lab & Keep Going
Open "A Tour of Google Cloud Hands-on Labs" and click Start Lab. Follow the steps, spend at least 6 minutes, and aim for a score of 100. When you're done, click End Lab — the 200 free credits are added automatically; no extra claim needed.
Check your balance at skills.google/my_account/credits. Then work through your curriculum and rack up badges.
Credits and badges:
- 9 Google Skills Credits: Unlocked when you redeem your access code.
- 200 Google Skills Credits: Credited once you complete "A Tour of Google Cloud Hands-on Labs".
- Google Cloud Skill Badges: Earned by completing the curriculum for your track
Rewards:
- Google-branded Certificate — Receive a certificate from Google upon successful completion of the course/curriculum.
