Rules & Guidelines

-

Eligibility & Teams:

- Open to undergraduate, postgraduate, and research scholars. - Teams must maintain 4 to 6 members. Inter-institutional teams are permitted. - All team members must be registered under this opportunity prior to the Phase 1 submission cut-off.

-

Problem Statements & Development Scope:

- Online Phase (Phase 1): Solutions must target the initial published problem tracks to qualify for shortlisting. - Offline Grand Finale (Phase 4): Teams will receive brand-new, unreleased problem statements on 28th October at 6:00 PM. All development for the offline phase must occur exclusively during the 24-hour on-campus sprint. Code developed prior to the prompt release will not be accepted.

-

Tooling & Platform Access:

- Permitted frameworks include standard quantum software tools (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane) and specified hardware backends/simulators. - Submissions must include full source code, test execution runs, dependency lists, and documentation.

-

Academic Integrity:

- All code submitted must be original. Plagiarism, repository scraping, or misattribution will result in immediate team disqualification. - Generative AI tools are permitted solely for syntax support, documentation, and troubleshooting; circuit architecture and core algorithms must be implemented by the team. - The decisions of the judging committee and organizing panel are final.
