Description

The Digital Poster Creation Competition is an online individual creative competition conducted across three thematic tracks. Participants must create an original digital poster based on the assigned theme and communicate a quantum-computing or technology-related concept through effective visual design.

Participants must follow the specified theme, poster dimensions, resolution, file format, originality requirements and submission deadline. Submitted posters will undergo eligibility and compliance checks before being evaluated using the published judging criteria.

Two winners will be selected from each of the three tracks, resulting in six verified winning positions.

Duration

- Total Duration: 90–120 minutes

Rules & Guidelines

Eligibility:

  • Participation is individual.
  • Participants must satisfy the eligibility requirements specified in the official event announcement.
  • Participants must provide accurate registration information.
  • Each participant must select one of the three approved tracks.

Track Selection:

  • The competition consists of three thematic tracks.
  • Participants must create their poster according to their selected track.
  • The poster must clearly relate to the assigned theme and subject.

Poster Requirements:

  • The poster must be the participant's original work.
  • Participants must follow the specified:
  • Poster dimensions
  • Resolution
  • File format
  • Theme
  • Submission deadline
  • The poster should communicate the intended quantum-computing or technology concept clearly and effectively.
  • The final artwork must be readable and suitable for digital presentation.

Design & Visual Assets:

  • Participants may use permitted design software and resources.
  • Any external images, icons, fonts or other assets must comply with applicable usage/licensing requirements.
  • Required attribution must be provided where applicable.
  • Participants must not use copyrighted material in a way that violates the applicable rights or event rules.

Originality:

  • Posters must be created by the registered participant.
  • Plagiarism, unauthorized copying, impersonation or submission of another person's artwork is prohibited.
  • Organizers may conduct originality and similarity checks.
  • Entries found to violate originality requirements may be disqualified.

AI Tools:

  • The use of AI-based image/design tools must follow the official competition policy.
  • If AI-generated or AI-assisted content is restricted or requires disclosure, participants must comply with those requirements.
  • Participants remain responsible for the originality, accuracy and rights associated with their submitted work.

Submission:

Participants must submit:

  • Final digital poster
  • Selected track
  • Required participant information
  • Any supporting description or attribution required by the organizers

The submission must be uploaded through the designated submission platform before the announced deadline.

Judging Criteria

Entries will be evaluated according to the published rubric, which may include:

  • Theme relevance
  • Conceptual accuracy
  • Creativity and originality
  • Visual composition
  • Clarity and readability
  • Technical execution
  • Overall communication effectiveness

The final scoring weights should be published before judging begins.

Winners

  • Two winners will be selected from each of the three tracks.
  • This results in six winners in total.
  • Winners will be finalized after judging and verification.
  • Any tie-break procedure must be announced before judging begins.

Disqualification

A submission may be disqualified for:

  • Failure to meet eligibility requirements
  • Plagiarism or unauthorized copying
  • Submission after the deadline
  • Incorrect file format or technical specifications
  • Submission to an unauthorized track
  • Copyright or attribution violations
  • Violation of the AI-use policy
  • Misrepresentation of participant identity
  • Any other violation of the published event rules

Final Verification

The organizers may verify eligibility, originality, technical compliance and other submission requirements before confirming the final results.
