Opportunity brief
Circuit Hunt
About the Event
- Circuit Hunt is a hands-on electronics competition designed to test participants' practical knowledge of electronic circuits, troubleshooting skills, problem-solving ability, accuracy, and teamwork.
- Participants will compete in teams of 2 and take part in practical circuit-based challenges involving troubleshooting a faulty circuit and building a functional circuit using the components provided by the organizers.
Event Format
Round 1 – Faulty Circuit Challenge
- Teams will be provided with a faulty electronic circuit. Participants must inspect the circuit, identify the fault, troubleshoot the connections, and make the circuit functional within the given time.
Round 2 – Build the Circuit
- Teams will be given a circuit requirement and the necessary components. Participants must design and build the required working circuit within the allotted time.
Judging Criteria
- Correctness of the circuit
- Proper use of the given components
- Circuit functionality
- Accuracy of connections
- Neatness of the circuit
- Must complete the task within the time limit
- Teamwork and troubleshooting approach
General Rules
- Each team must consist of 2 members.
- Components required for the challenges will be provided by the organizers.
- Participants must use only the components provided for the respective challenge.
- Teams must complete the challenges within the allotted time.
- Participants must not interfere with another team's circuit.
- Any form of unfair practice may result in disqualification.
- Participants must handle all components and equipment carefully.
- The decision of the judges/organizing committee will be final.
Safety Guidelines ️
- Follow all instructions given by the organizers.
- Switch off the power supply before making major changes to the circuit.
