*About the Competition:*

Innovation Auction is a two-round entrepreneurship and strategy competition that tests innovation, strategic thinking, adaptability and resource management. Teams build a business idea around a given problem, bid for resources such as AI technology, funding, sustainable production, expert consultation and marketing support, then adapt their idea and pitch it to the judges.

*General Guidelines:*

  • Register through Unstop before the deadline.
  • Teams must have 2–3 members.
  • Only shortlisted teams from Round 1 proceed to the final round.
  • Plagiarism or unfair practices will lead to immediate disqualification.
  • Follow the instructions given by the organising committee.

*Eligibility:*

  • Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from all colleges and universities.
  • Inter-college teams are allowed.

*Rules:*

  • Adhere strictly to the time limits during presentations.
  • Unfair means during the online quiz will result in disqualification.
  • Ensure stable internet connectivity during the online quiz.
  • Late submissions or incomplete registrations will not be considered.
  • The decision of the judges and organising committee is final and binding.

*Time Structure*

Preparation Time: 10–15 minutes Presentation Time: 4–5 minutes per team Judges' Questions: 2–3 minutes

*Judging Criteria*

  • *Resource Utilisation:* Effective use of acquired resources
  • *Adaptability:* Modifying the idea to fit available resources
  • *Problem-Solving:* How well the solution addresses the problem
  • *Innovation:* Creativity within resource limits
  • *Strategic Decision-Making:* Smart bidding and resource allocation
  • *Business Viability:* Practicality and feasibility of the model
  • *Presentation & Justification:* Clear, convincing explanation of decisions and solution
