About the Competition:
Case Crash – Think. Build. Pitch. is a fast-paced case competition designed to test participants' ability to analyse business and economic crises, develop practical solutions, make financial and investment decisions, and present their strategies effectively.
The competition is centred around the theme "Resilience Protocol: Building the Economics of Tomorrow", with a focus on how businesses, industries and communities can remain financially stable, maintain essential operations, respond to shocks and build long-term resilience.

Competition Structure:
Round 1 – Online Assessment:
- Format: MCQ-based assessment
- Date: 10 October 2026
- Time: 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM
- This round will be used to shortlist teams for the offline round.
Round 2 – Live Case Challenge:
Shortlisted teams will participate in the offline round at the college campus.
The case will be revealed only on the day of the competition. Teams will have exactly 60 minutes to analyse the case, develop their solution and prepare a 5–6 slide presentation.
A Crisis Card will be issued midway through the round. Teams will be required to incorporate the new development into their strategy and respond accordingly.
Pitch Format:
Teams will be expected to present their solution before the panel.

- Suggested Pitch Duration: 10 minutes
- Q&A: 4-5 minutes per team
Guidelines & Rules:
- The case will be disclosed only on the offline competition day.
- The selected participants have to bring their own laptops for the presentation.
- Teams will have 60 minutes to analyse the case and prepare their solution.
- The final presentation must contain 5–6 slides.
- One Crisis Card will be issued midway through the case challenge and must be addressed in the final solution.
- Participants must base their solutions on the information provided in the case.
- Any assumptions made by the team must be clearly stated and justified.
- Solutions should address both short-term survival and long-term resilience.
- Teams should demonstrate consideration of finance, management, economics, investment and risk while developing their solution.
- Teams must be prepared to explain the financial logic and strategic rationale behind their recommendations.
- Participants must adhere to the stipulated preparation and presentation time.
- The case figures provided during the competition will be fictional and intended solely for competition purposes.
- Teams must respond to the Crisis Card as part of their overall strategy rather than treating it as a separate solution.
- Participants are expected to present their solutions clearly and professionally before the panel.

Participants should demonstrate their ability to:
- Identify and diagnose the core business/economic problem.
- Make practical and financially sound decisions.
- Balance short-term constraints with long-term resilience.
- Evaluate investment and resource-allocation choices.
- Manage risks and respond to unexpected developments.
- Present a clear, structured and implementable strategy.
