Opportunity brief
Hack-Tic-Thon ~ Come With Ideas, Leave With Bugs:
- is a Gen-Z, unconventional hackathon organized under Tech-Melange '26, The Annual Tech Fest of ENIAC Society, Department of Computer Science, Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women, University of Delhi.
Eligibility & Team Formation:
- The hackathon is open to participants from any college, university, specialization or educational background.
- Inter-college and inter-specialization teams are allowed.
- Each team must consist of 2–3 members.
- Participants shall participate under the Open Innovation track.
- Participation is free.
Format:
- The hackathon will consist of 2 rounds:
ROUND 1 — ONLINE PPT + PROJECT SUBMISSION:
- THE BRAINROT BEGINS
- Submission Period: 26 September – 9 October 2026
- Teams must submit a PPT along with their properly coded project/MVP, MVP screenshots, GitHub repository link and project demo.
PPT Guidelines:
- Teams may design their presentation freely. No fixed PPT template will be provided.
- The presentation must contain a maximum of 10 slides, including the Introduction/Title Slide and Ending/Thank You Slide.
- The presentation may be arranged in any format but should cover:
- Problem / OpportunitY
- Proposed Solution
- Workflow
- Features
- Technologies Used
- Innovation / Feasibility
- Impact / Future Vision
- MVP Snapshots
- GitHub Repository Link
- Project Demo
- Teams selected through the Round 1 evaluation will proceed to the offline finale.
ROUND 2 — OFFLINE FINALE:
- THE FINAL CRASHOUT
- Finale Date: 15 October 2026
- Venue: Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women, University of Delhi
- Finalist teams will present their complete project before the judges, covering:
- Idea and problem statement
- Proposed solution
- Development approach
- Technical implementation
- Final prototype/MVP
- Live project demonstration
- Teams may use their PPT, live demo, prototype or any other material necessary to showcase their project.
- Each team will be given a total of 10 minutes for their final presentation and demonstration.
General Rules:
- Each team must submit original work.
- Teams must ensure that all submitted links and materials are accessible to the organizers and judges.
- Teams are responsible for ensuring that their submitted project, GitHub repository and demo are functional and available for evaluation.
- Submissions received after the specified deadline may not be considered.
- Participants must follow the instructions and deadlines communicated by the organizing team.
- The decisions of the judges regarding evaluation and selection will be final.
- The organizers reserve the right to disqualify teams for plagiarism, misrepresentation, violation of rules or submission of work that does not belong to the participating team.
