Overview:
A competitive 5v5 Valorant tournament featuring online qualifiers leading to offline LAN finals. Teams showcase skill, teamwork, and strategy across multiple phases.
Tournament Format:
- Team Size: 5 players mandatory
- Expected Teams: ~64
- Platform: PC – Riot official servers (Mumbai)
- Event Type: Online Qualifiers → Offline LAN Finals
Phase 1 – Online Qualifiers:
(Round1, 64 teams)
- Format: Best of 1 (Bo1)
- Goal: Top 32 teams advance to Round2
- Up to 3 simultaneous/parallel matches
(Round2, 32 teams)
- Format: Best of 1 (Bo1)
- Goal: Top 16 teams advance to Round3
- Up to 3 simultaneous/parallel matches
(Round3, 16 teams)
- Format: Best of 1 (Bo1)
- Goal: Top 8 teams advance to Phase 2
- Up to 3 simultaneous/parallel matches
Phase 2 – Swiss Stage (Top 8, Online):
- Format: Best of 3 (Bo3), VCT-style Swiss
- Teams eliminated after 2 losses, advance after 2 wins
- Seeding for Playoffs: Based on Swiss record, head-to-head, map differential, then round differential
Phase 3 – Offline LAN Playoffs (Top 4):
- Semifinals: Bo3 (Seed 1 vs 4, 2 vs 3)
- 3rd Place Match: Bo3
- Grand Final: Bo5
- Semi finals at Day 1 and Finals at Day 2
Team Composition & Eligibility:
- Minimum: 5 active players
- Maximum: 5 players
- Roster Lock: 24 hrs before Phase 2
- Substitutions allowed only for emergencies with admin approval
- Players must be current Yugaantar students (valid college ID)
- Prohibited: Smurfing, account sharing, unapproved software
Map Pool & Veto System:
- Default Maps: Bind, Haven, Ascent, Lotus, Sunset, Corrode, Abyss, Icebox,Split, Breeze
- Veto: VCT-style adapted for Bo1, Bo3, Bo5
- Coin toss determines Team A/B for bans and picks
- Teams choose starting sides after picks
Game Setup & Rules:
- Mode: Standard Competitive (5v5)
- Admin-created lobbies for online/offline phases
- Timeout: 1 per half, 1 additional per 2 overtime rounds
- Warmups: 5 min offline (Phase 3), online at admin discretion
- Voice: Teams must use designated Discord channel during matches
Conduct & Integrity:
- Arrive 15 min prior; 10 min grace for forfeit
- Cheating, hacks, collusion, match-fixing, toxic behavior = disqualification
- Admin decisions are final
Technical & Connectivity Issues:
- Teams responsible for stable internet
- Tactical pause for 1 disconnected player: max 5 min
- Multiple disconnects: Admin may pause up to 20 min
- Technical pauses: max 5 min per verified issue
- Stream outages: Match continues; admin may review VODs
Rematch Policy:
- Rare; only for verified severe server issues
- Admin decides if scores/map orders reset
Forfeits & Disqualification:
- No-shows or repeated absences = disqualification
- Cheats, smurfing, disrespect, exploit of bugs = disqualification
Judging & Advancement:
- Teams progress via match outcomes
- Phase 3 winner determined in Bo5 Grand Final
- Organizers' decision final and binding
Streaming & Media:
- Phase 3 matches streamed live on official Yugaantar channel
- Organizers may use footage and interviews for promotion
