Budget Battle Royale is an exciting finance-based team competition that tests participants' financial planning, budgeting, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
The event gives participants a practical financial scenario in which they must create and manage a budget, make strategic decisions, and respond effectively to unexpected challenges. The competition combines financial knowledge with real-time decision-making to create an engaging and competitive experience.
What to Expect
Participants will be given a financial planning scenario along with the necessary information. Teams will then:
- Analyse the given financial situation.
- Prepare an appropriate budget.
- Make strategic financial decisions.
- Respond to unexpected situations through Twist Cards.
- Present and justify their final financial plan before the judges.
Team Size
Each team must consist of 2 participants.
Duration
The total duration of the competition is 2 hours.
Judging Criteria
Participants will be evaluated on:
- Financial Planning & Budgeting – 25 marks
- Decision-Making & Strategy – 20 marks
- Analytical Thinking – 20 marks
- Creativity & Adaptability – 15 marks
- Presentation & Justification – 20 marks
Prizes
- 1st Position: ₹2,000 + Trophy + Certificate
- 2nd Position: ₹1,000 + Trophy + Certificate
