Opportunity brief
The Role: We are looking for a creative, driven, and detail-oriented UI/UX Design Intern to take the lead on shaping the visual and functional future of our platform. This isn't a shadow role—you will be handed real ownership. You will lead user research, conceptualize seamless user journeys, and build high-fidelity interfaces that directly impact thousands of passionate sports fans on matchdays. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design process from initial wireframes and UX flows to polished, high-fidelity UI components in Figma. Revamp and standardize interfaces across our dual ecosystem: the Web App (data-heavy admin dashboards, guest discovery pages) and the Mobile App (fan feeds, digital ticketing, gamification). Dive deep into the minds of our two distinct user groups (Admins and Fans) to streamline complex flows like event checkouts, membership renewals, and gamified engagement. Create interactive prototypes to validate concepts and prepare clean, organized Figma files for seamless handoff to our development team. Required Skills & Qualifications: A minimum of 6 months of hands-on, demonstrable experience in overall UI/UX design. Advanced working knowledge of Figma (Auto Layout, Components, Variables, and Prototyping) is mandatory. A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to solve complex UX challenges and design minimalist, high-performance interfaces. Solid understanding of mobile-first design principles, responsive web behaviors, and modern design systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate design decisions and advocate for the user. What We Offer: Paid compensation: A competitive stipend for the duration of the internship. Real-world impact: Your designs will not sit in a folder; they will be shipped to a live user base of highly engaged sports communities. Flexibility: A fully remote working environment with the autonomy to manage your creative process.
